About Matt

Matt lives in the City of Oconomowoc with his wife, Melissa, and four children, Cassie, Mandy, Emily and Alex along with their newly added labrador retriever, Luna. Matt has lived in the Lake Country area since eight and has lived in the City since 2001.

In his full-time job, Matt is a shareholder and lawyer with a national civil litigation firm, where he practices defending businesses in fire and explosion cases. He was first admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2004. He is also admitted to practice in Minnesota, four Federal District Courts and the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Matt received his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (B.A., cum laude, 2000). He then attended Marquette University Law School where he received his juris doctor in 2004. Matt has been an Adjunct Lecturer at Carroll University in the Politics and Global Studies Department where he coached the Carroll University Mock Trial Team and has taught Advanced Business Law.

In his free time Matt enjoys traveling with his family, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, archery, hunting and hiking.
